Dr Beuning is the Chair and Professor of Chemistry and Chemical Biology​ at Northeastern University. Her research aims to determine how cells respond to DNA damage and maintain the accuracy of genetic information. She aims to develop DNA damage tolerance enzymes and DNA repair proteins for biotechnology applications.
Dr Hashmi is an Associate Professor in Chemical Engineering and an Affiliate Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Biology & Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at Northeastern University. The Complex Fluids Lab focuses on biomaterials & soft materials: manipulation of nanoscale and single-particle properties to control macroscale transport & assembly; microfluidics for biomedical, pharmaceutical & energy applications.
Dr Strange is the director of broadening participation, director of teaching faculty, and an associate teaching professor at the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University. She focuses on supporting and encouraging women and people of color in computer science.
